Perfect Negatives

We know that this is a tough topic so our experts have figured it out!

Put ne ... pas around the auxiliary (avoir or être) then put the past participle after pas.

Exemples: Je n’ai regardé pas la télé.
Je n’ai pas fait mes devoirs.

Perfect negatives with reflexives:
The ne…pas goes around the auxiliary and the past participle comes afterwards.
Il ne s’est pas rasé.
Elle ne s'est pas lavée.
